Established in August 2025, R.A.B Electrical have quickly taken the market by storm. Offering unique services in Electrical Compliance which combine excellent customer service alongside reliable, trustworthy engineers – a rare combination within the construction industry.

A Real family business

Director; Rhys Barrett, started R.A.B Electrical with a vision to better his children’s lives and spend more time with them, however the business quickly grew and it was clear there was more potential than he had first realised. From there he assembled an operational team built predominantly from skilled family members who were equipped to propel the business further, whilst Rhys continues as a working Director - guiding the next generation of Electrical Engineers to the highest standards.

R.A.B provide complete Electrical Compliance services which take the headache away for many business and individuals. Instead of dealing with multiple contractors for servicing appointments and inspections, R.A.B step in and manage Electrical Compliance on their behalf – including Periodic Inspections, PAT testing and servicing Life Safety Systems which are all required to meet legal obligations.

Family is at the forefront of why R.A.B Electrical exists, and Director; Rhys wants to change industry standards by providing better paternity leave arrangements, flexible working to better suit family life, and by keeping employees actively involved in decision making and company progress. Opening the floor to discuss mental health is a core value at R.A.B, and is a topic frequently discussed with staff. It is common knowledge there is a mental health crisis within the construction industry, so R.A.B are trying to drastically change how mental health is approached – by creating a supportive, understanding and trained workforce to encourage individuals to speak up.

R.A.B Electrical truly believe each individual employee has a huge impact on the business’s growth, and keeping all employees actively involved in the company’s insights is key to maintaining their excellence in customer service and trustworthiness. It has also helped the business obtain 100% 5 star reviews – something which R.A.B are extremely proud of.

Plans for the future

R.A.B Electrical have huge plans for the upcoming years, and are already setting the foundation by investing in training and coaching opportunities for staff, to ensure their growth is manageable, whilst maintaining their workplace culture and values.
